This is our last e-letter for 2008. We - the whole Wine Alley team - wish to send you our thanks for your presence and support in 2008 and our best wishes of happiness and success for 2009.
2009 may well turn out to be the catastrophic vintage experts are depicting on the economic front. On the other hand, as you will read in this letter, wine professionals throughout the world are poised for action, whether investing or debating over what makes wine relevant and successful. As they raise the question in Australia (see Wolf Brass's Expert Opinion, click here), the challenge is on and so is the countdown to 2009!

Interview: Jem Gardener, (Vinceremos, organic wines importer in the UK) : "The organic wine market is much stronger today, to face the crisis" (27/11/2008)

A British import company, specialized in organic wines, Vinceremos was founded in 1985 and imports 400 000 bottles per year to the UK. Its President, Jem Gardener, was also the President of the Challenge Millesime Bio Jury, which awarded its medals to the wines represented during the Millésime Bio organic wines fair to be held in Montpellier (January 26th to 28th).
